Background: The root coverage esthetic score RES was published in 2009 as an esthetic scoring system to measure visible final outcomes of root coverage procedures performed on Miller I and II recession defects. The aim of this study was to evaluate the intra examiner, intra group, and inter examiner reliability of the RES when used among periodontal faculty, post graduate students in periodontology, and pre doctoral DMD students when using the RES at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine TUSDM. Methods: Thirty three participants 12 second year DMD students, 11 periodontal residents, and 10 faculty members were assembled to evaluate 25 baseline and 6 month post treatment outcomes of mucogingival surgeries using the RES. Each projection was shown for 30 seconds during which the participants were asked to use the RES scoring system to evaluate the surgical outcomes. The results were then recorded on a standardized worksheet grid. To test intra examiner reliability, seven of the 25 projections were shown twice. Intra examiner reliability and inter examiner reliability were assessed using intraclass correlation coefficient using a two way mixed effect model, and stratified by education level. Results: Post graduate PG residents had the highest tendency to agree with each other with an interclass correlation ICC of 0. 53 95% confidence interval 0.

In 2007 the United States Department of Veterans Affairs after years of dispute added the Pentagram to the list of emblems of belief that can be included on government issued markers, headstones, and plaques honoring deceased veterans. In Canada, Dr. Heather Botting Lady Aurora and Dr. Gary Botting Pan, the original high priestess and high priest of Coven Celeste and founding elders of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, successfully campaigned the British Columbian government and the federal government in 1995 to allow them to perform recognised Wiccan weddings, to become prison and hospital chaplains, and in the case of Heather Botting to become the first officially recognized Wiccan chaplain in a public university. The oath based system of many Wiccan traditions makes it difficult for outsider scholars to study them. For instance, after the anthropologist Tanya Luhrmann revealed information about what she learned as an initiate of a Wiccan coven in her academic study, various Wiccans were upset, believing that she had broken the oaths of secrecy taken at initiation. A "septic system," also referred to as a private, on site waste disposal system, receives waste water and solids from a building's plumbing facilities bathrooms, kitchens, shower, laundry, treats, and then disposes of the effluent from this waste, by permitting it to absorb into soils at the property. As we elaborate at WHAT IS A SEPTIC SYSTEM?, a septic system at a typical home consists of a septic tank or "holding Tank" where natural bacterial action decomposes human waste products into environmentally acceptable components the major end components being water, mixed with some other components that are not readily consumed by the bacterial action, gases, and undigested solids. The end products, except the undigested solids, are then discharged to the on site environment. In a conventional septic tank, sewage waste treatment is just partial, up to about 45% of what is needed. The remaining treatment of wastewater as well as the actual disposal of liquid waste clarified effluent is in the soils of the drainfield. Wastewater or septic effluent treatment is accomplished by bacterial and other microorganism action in the "septic" or "treatment" tank and it is mostly accomplished by bacteria in the soil around and below the effluent absorption system, or "drain field. " This bacterial action is needed to reduce the level of pathogens in the effluent discharges from the waste system into the soil. In addition to reducing the level of pathogens and the reduction of organic waste to a combination of new cell masses, CO2, and water, wastewater treatment removes organic matter, nitrites and nitrates, and phosphorous. In an absorption field the soil performs an additional role of filtering the septic effluent. Having a property served by a private or onsite septic system means that wastewater, that is blackwater from toilets and graywater from sinks, showers, washers, etc.

Tire manufacturers are pretty smart people engineers, designers, and the like and they figured out that they could save a lot of people a lot of hassle by putting some information directly on the sidewall of every tire. In Tire Tech 101 the first of our series on tires we'll give a tour of some of the most important bits of information that you can find on your tires, and what it all means. If there's a "P" appended to the beginning of the information, this simply designates its a passenger car tire. If there's no "P" at the beginning, the tire is simply engineered to different standards. The standards are set by two organizations: the TandRA The Tire and Rim Association and the ETRTO European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization. The next number "235" in this case measures the tire section width, in millimeters: the distance from sidewall to sidewall. Each tire is measured to specific rim width, and because rim width is often measured in inches here in the U. S. , it's helpful to convert millimeters to inches. Divide the millimeters by 25. 4 to get the measurement in inches.
